Better Conversations Start with Practice.

Become a Founding Member of Human Skills Practice.

Join our free Founding Members group, practice conversations in a welcoming environment, and help shape the future of the program.

Conversation is a skill. Skills can be learned with practice.

What is Human Skills Practice?

A small group where thoughtful people practice real conversations in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Not networking.

Not public speaking.

Not therapy.

Just practice.

What happens?

We'll meet as a small group and work through simple conversation exercises designed to make talking with people feel more natural over time.

You don't have to be outgoing.

You don't have to perform.

You just have to show up willing to practice.

Who is it for?

People who would like to feel more comfortable talking with others, whether that's...

  • meeting new people

  • networking

  • making friends

  • attending conferences and industry events

  • keeping conversations going

  • or simply enjoying conversations more.

Why is it free?

This is the first beta group.

I'm looking for thoughtful participants who will provide honest feedback to help shape the program.

Join the Beta Group

We'll meet in Portsmouth NH on four Tuesday evenings: August 25 and September 1, 8, and 15, from 6:00–7:00 PM.

Attend one session, all four, or anywhere in between.

If you'd like to be part of this founding group, reserve your spot using the calendar below or send me a message. I'd love to have you join us.

Most People are Never Taught This Stuff

Conversation, connection, and communication are skills — not personality traits.

I used to think some people were just naturally good at talking to people and the rest of us… weren't. Now I know that converastion is a skill and skills can be learned, practiced, and developed.

Many thoughtful, capable people avoid industry events, networking and social gatherings simply because they’ve never had a place to learn or practice conversations…until now!
